The accu-TEST™ COD Reactor Block is an economical solution for digestion of chemical oxygen demand (COD) samples.
The accu-TEST COD Reactor Block is easier to use and more economical than other heating methods for COD vial digestion. The accu-TEST COD Reactor Block maintains temperature to within 2°C of 150°C for consistent results with an operational temperature range of Amb. +5°C to 155°C. A safety shield is available to protect against broken vials and acid spills. Samples are ready to be measured by titration or a colorimeter after a two-hour digestion period. The unit meets all applicable electrical and safety standards. Two sizes are available; the single reactor unit can digest up to 15 (16mm) vials simultaneously and the double reactor unit can handle up to 30 vials.
