This borosilicate glass specific gravity bottle is used in standard test methods for specific gravity of a variety of semi solid materials and emulsions, such as asphalt cements, road tars, road oils, and soft tar pitches. The solid Standard Taper stopper has a hole approximately 1.6mm in diameter through the center to allow excess sample to escape.
