General description: Activins are members of the TGF-β family. Activins are dimeric proteins composed of two beta subunits. Acitivn A contains two β A subunits. Activins bind to the Type II Activin receptor triggering phosphorylation of Type I Acitivn receptor (ALK4) and activation of downstream pathways such as proliferation and apoptosis.
General description: The antibody will neutralize the biological activity of recombinant human activin A.
General description: Goat anti-activin A recognizes recombinant human activin A by direct ELISA, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry.
Application: Anti-Activin A antibody can be used for immunohistochemistry (5-15 mug/mL), western blot (0.1 mug/mL) and neutralization assays.
Immunogen: recombinant human activin A expressed in CHO cells.
Physical form: Lyophilized from 0.2 mum-filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline containing carbohydrates.
RIDADR: NONH for all modes of transport
