General description: Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is a glycoprotein antibody that regulates immune responses such as phagocytosis and is also involved in the development of autoimmune diseases . Mouse IgGs have four distinct isotypes, namely, IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, and IgG3. IgG1 regulates complement fixation in mice . Anti-Mouse IgG (Fab specific)-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody is specific for mouse IgG and mouse IgG, Fab fragment. The product does not react with mouse IgG, Fc fragment, or human IgG.
Application: Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (1 paper)Immunohistochemistry (1 paper)
Application: Anti-Mouse IgG (Fab specific)-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody is suitable for use in western blot (using 1:1000 or 1:10000 dilutions). The product can also be used for immunohistochemistry (1:50 using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections).
Application: Alkaline phosphatase-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Fab specific) was used as the secondary antibody in ELISA assays to measure the reacitivity of mABs to thyrogobulin peptides. Absorbance was measured at 405 nm.
Immunogen: Purified mouse IgG Fab fragment
Physical form: Solution in 0.05 M Tris, pH 8.0, containing 1% bovine serum albumin, 1 mM MgCl2 and 15 mM sodium azide
