User-installable desiccant kits are required for all our FT-IR Spectrometers to keep the optical path free from moisture. It is recommended that the desiccant is replaced every six months. The kit comes with the 2 packs.
Four packs (or two kits) are required for each desiccant change on the following models: 1600, Paragon 500, Paragon 1000, Spectrum 1000, Spectrum RX, and Spectrum BX, Spectrum GX, Spectrum 2000, System 2000, Spectrum One, and Spectrum One NTS.
