General description: The product stains tubulin in cultured chicken fibroblasts or 3T3 mouse fibroblasts. Additional bands may be stained in immunoblotting.
General description: Microtubules are composed of tubulin and several additional proteins designated microtubule associated proteins (MAPs). Tubulin is a heterodimer which consists of an alpha-chain and a beta-chain, both of which have a molecular weight of approximately 55,000. Microtubules form an elaborate cytoplasmic network during interphase and are reorganized into the mitotic spindle during cell division.
Application: Anti-Tubulin antibody is qualified for indirect immunofluorescence, a working dilution of at least 1:80 using cultured fibroblasts and Anti-Rabbit IgG-FITC (Product No. F9887) as the secondary antibody and immunoblotting, a working dilution of at least 1:200 using chicken gizzard extract or mouse brain extract and Anti-Rabbit IgG-Peroxidase (Product No. A0545) as the secondary antibody.
Immunogen: microtubule proteins from brains of 13 day old chicken embryos
Specificity: The product stains tubulin in cultured chicken fibroblasts or 3T3 mouse fibroblasts. Additional bands may be stained in immunoblotting.
RIDADR: NONH for all modes of transport
