Immunogen: synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of C. elegans gamma-tubulin (amino acids 428-444) with N-terminal added cysteine, conjugated to KLH. This sequence is highly specific for C. elegans gamma-tubulin, and not found in gamma-tubulin sequences of other species or other members of the tubulin family such as alpha-, beta-, delta-, and epsilon-tubulins.
