CD cell-degradable crosslinker is comprised of conjugated peptide along with polyethylene glycol and thiol (SH) groups. The thiol groups form stable thioether bond with thiol-reactive groups of the polymers (Mal-PVA, Mal-Dextran, SG-PVA and SG-Dextran) and results in a stable hydrogel. The conjugated peptide has matrix metalloprotease (MMP)-cleavage sites (Pro-Leu-Gly-Leu-Trp-Ala), which allows matrix metalloproteases (MMP1, MMP3, MMP7 and MMP9) to locally degrade the polymer network. It allows cells to spread and migrate within the gel if they express the indicated MMPs.
Storage: -20C
Application: TRUECD is used to crosslink PVA and dextran polymers to generate cell-degradable hydrogel
